On the Slate
In the Shadow of AIDS – A feature-length documentary adaptation from my 2024 MFA thesis short film of the same title. The film exploring the lived experiences of Gen X queers, artists, and activists shaped by the AIDS crisis. This film interweaves personal memory, archival media, and historical resistance to spotlight the generation too often forgotten between ACT UP and PrEP.
GRRRLS – From the director of GRRRL (short) and the acclaimed Lost Grrrls: Riot Grrrl in Los Angeles, comes a bold and untold history of the Riot Grrrl movement—from its grassroots beginnings in Olympia and D.C. to its lasting influence on music, feminism, and pop culture. GRRRLS reveals how a pre-digital network of feminists used zines, cassettes, and DIY shows to spark a global cultural shift still echoing today.
Sediment – A poetic hybrid short documentary that situates trans bodies and disability within the natural world—an intimate meditation on embodiment, resilience, and belonging, filmed entirely in nature.
